I was born again in 1970 while attending Virginia Tech and have been making my share of mistakes, and trying to learn from them, for the past 40 years. During 20 of those years I had the privilege of serving in pastoral ministry and in both traveling to and teaching various denominations, streams, and movements in the Body of Christ. Some places at which I was granted extended stays consisted of congregations with a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Needless to say, decades of meeting and sometimes walking closely with so many different kinds of treasures in the Body of Christ have been both dear and educational to me. I learned far more from everyone than they did from me. Those years, and each of those individual saints, both locally and trans-locally, were a cherished gift from the heavenly Father to me.
Presently, I am a full time author and due to physical limitations I am no longer able to travel and minister. Apparently the time has come for me to write down some of what the Lord has entrusted to me. For this reason one of my current projects is to publish what I call the Three Day Series, which is a chronological re-enactment of the three mysterious days between Jesus’ death and resurrection. As of this date Book 1 is already available. From the best I can tell by my sometimes faulty discernment, I believe the Lord would also have me open The Christian Café, through which I intend to offer a variety of things to not only my children and their future families, but to anyone else who might be interested.
It is my sincere prayer that you would be strengthened by whatever living waters the Lord sees fit to provide for you through the Café. It is also my prayer that you would not be repulsed by any residual taste of the "garden hose" (me) used to transport the living waters. Please know that I am fully aware that the vessel can sometimes taint what was originally pure from the Source.
